Fold-Man

The Exquisite Corpse was developed by the Surrealists in the early 1900s. A round-robin exercise, all the participants sit together with a piece of paper folded as many times as there are players (3-4 is recommended). The first player draws the head, folds it so her drawing is hidden, and passes it to the next participant, who draws the arms, the next the legs, and the last the feet. When the drawing is completed, it’s unfolded, and the creature is revealed.

And now there’s an app version! 2-4 players can design the wildest creatures you can think of, unable to see the previous players’ drawings. It’s fun, it’s free, and it’s great to loosen up the creative side of your brain before starting a serious project.
