Fall 2013 Exhibition Opening Reception

Add event to my calendar

Join us for four concurrent solo exhibitions in CIA’s Reinberger Galleries featuring recent paintings by 1953 CIA graduate Richard Anuszkiewicz, as well as Suzanne Treister and Arpita Singh, and a short film by James Nares. The exhibitions kick off Nov. 8 with a Lunch On Fridays talk by Nares at 12:15pm in Aitken Auditorium (pizza provided). The gallery opening reception takes place from 6-8pm, and at 7:45pm, the Cinematheque will present a free screening of Nares' feature film Rome '78 in Aitken. Nares will introduce the film and lead a Q+A afterward. The exhibitions will be on view through Dec. 14.

Please note: the on-stage interview with Anuszkiewicz previously scheduled for 5pm has been cancelled.

All four shows are generously supported by a grant from Dealer Tire. Additional support for Richard Anuszkiewicz – Recent Work was provided by the Ben S. Stefanski family and the Polish-American Cultural Center.

As always, all events this evening are FREE and open to the public.
