Two CIA grads commissioned for CWRU public art works

Two interactive installations-one functional, one digital-enliven campus gathering places

Late this summer, two CIA grads, both now living in New York, had high-profile works of public art installed on the campus of their alma mater's neighbor, Case Western Reserve University. Both installations are interactive; both bring people together; but the similarities end there.

Thu Tran '05 created a series of interactive video games that are now displayed on a wall-sized screen in CWRU’s new Tinkham Veale University Center. Mark Reigelman '06 designed a series of interlocking picnic tables installed on Toby's Plaza, just west of MOCA Cleveland and across Euclid Avenue from CIA's new Uptown Residence Hall.
